The tournament is held to bring co-operation and harmony among our Nepalese community in National level.

This will be a first and unique tournament consisting of at least two (2) interstate teams. Currently, the tournament will be played in one (1) day. Our future goal is to spread the tournament into weeks/months which will allow tournament participants to travel interstate and increase community harmony.

Our aim is to host the tournament every year. The tournament will consist of two prizes one being CASH PRIZE and the RUNNING CUP where winners name will be engraved each year on the cup and returned following year before the competition starts.

Furthermore, the game is played for leisure, team play, friendship and healthy competition. Fair Play is the essence of the game.

TOURNAMENT FEES:
The entrance fee for the tournament will be $300.00 per team.

WINNER: Cash Prize $1200 + Trophy + Medals + Certificates
RUNNER-UP: Cash Prize $600.00 + Trophy + Medals + Certificates
2ND RUNNER-UP: Cash Prize $300.00 + Trophy + Medals + Certificates

and we have Best player ,Man of the match, Highscorer and fairplay team as well..Participate teams are from Melbourne Yeti FC A,B, UFC A,B, Neplese Bhutanese club,MMC and RNB FC..and from sydney Nepalese Thunderstorm club and Sagarmatha FC and from Brisbane Neplaese Ghurkas FC and one from Northern teritory nepal club all together we got 10 football clubs.

PUBLIC INSURANCE:
Yeti FC will be organising Public Liability Insurance for peace of mind to the participants, organisers and most importantly spectators on the day.

ON THE DAY:
BBQ and drinks will be happening all day for the spectators.
Live entertainment.

RULES AND REGULATION:
The tournament will be played with nine (9) on each side instead of eleven (11) players. All the outdoor FIFA regulation will be applicable except for minor changes as outlined below.

YEIT FC reserves the right to make changes to the schedule with prior notification to teams.

Captains or Manager of each participating team will liaise with Tournament Organising Committee to communicate about the tournament.

The Committee’s main responsibility will be to manage the tournament and discuss any disciplinary issues that arise and decide if further action is warranted.

TEAM FORMATION:
a) Two teams of Nine (9) players play the game on each team. One shall be the goalkeepers and therefore allowed to touch the ball with their hands and or arms in their respective goal keeping area.
b) There are up to Six (6) substitutes per team. Once substituted the substituted player cannot re-enter the game.
c) Substitutions can only be made from the designated area and only once the substituted player has left the playing area.
d) the minimum number of players per team for the match to continue is Six (6).

ELIGIBILTY:
a) Players must be registered prior to the first match of the tournament. A maximum of 15 players allowed per team. No players can be added to the team once the tournament has started
b) Players cannot compete in more than one team during the tournament
c) If the players are required to wear the bibs, the toss of the coin will decide who will do so

DETERMINING GROUP POSITIONS AND/OR PLACING:
The tournament will be divided into two (2) groups i.e. Group A and Group B.
a) Group stage: Knock-out game will be played teams within the Group i.e. team 1 VS team 2 and team 3 VS team 4
b) Semi-Final: among the winners of first game within the group
c) Final: Winner of group A vs group B


DRAW:

Date and Time for the draw to be notified. Team Captain or Manager will be invited for the draw.

PLAYING TIMES:
a) Group Stage: 2 x 15 minutes with 5 minutes break
b) Third place: 2 x 20 minutes with 10 minutes break
c) Final: 2 x 20 minutes with 10 minutes break
d) No time-outs will be taken during the tournament
e) If the score be tied, penalty will be taken by 5 players each, if still cannot be decided then penalty will be taken by 3 players and if still cannot be decided then penalty will be taken by 1 player until winner is decided

DISCIPLINES AND ABANDONED GAMES:
The tournament must be played in good spirit and therefore any anti-social behaviour or violence will not be tolerated.
a) The Captain of each team is responsible for the conduct and safety of each of his team members; this includes offensive language and behaviour. If any altercations do occur the referee will only deal with the Captain.
b) Referee will make the decision to abandon the game should there be any anti-social especially violence spotted. Both teams captain will be notified and expelled from the tournament
c) If the match is abandoned because a team is unable to field sufficient players to field or remain on the pitch, then the team remaining on the pitch will be the winner. The scores are not taken into consideration

APPEALS:
Match referees decision is final regardless of the opinion of others
No appeals will be accepted, fair play is the essence of the game.

MATCH BALLS:
The tournament organising committee will provide the match balls

DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS:
a) Where a player accumulates two (2) Yellow Cards during the game will be converted into a red card.
b) Where a player accumulates three (3) Yellow Cards during the tournament, automatic suspension of one (1) match will apply.
c) Once expelled (red card) the player concerned MAY NOT re-enter the game in neither progress nor can the player remain in the pitch area as determined by the Tournament Organising Committee.
d) A suspended player may not enter the pitch area as determined by the Tournament Organising Committee until the suspension has been executed.
e) Any person who is found guilty of causing damage to the pitch, its facilities or car park area will be ejected from the area and may be reported to the Police. All costs will be forwarded to the person or persons found guilty of causing the damage.
f) A coach, manager, spectator or player can be asked to leave the vicinity of the Tournament by the Tournament Organising Committee and a report will be put forward for further deliberations, which may include being banned from further Tournaments. The Tournament Organising Committee has the right to deal with such people.
g) A Disciplinary Committee will make deliberations on Red Card reports from referees or matters relating to any misconduct at the Tournament by coaches, managers or players.
